If you’re familiar with the world of battle royales, you probably know about fortnite pickaxe. Ever since it was launched, Epic Games has been experimenting with more advanced skins for players to show off their style. From officially licensed collaborations and limited-time challenges to seasonal cosmetics and more, Epic rarely disappoints. That’s why we’ve decided to put together a list of our favorite Fortnite skins!
With every new patch, there are more and more cosmetics to collect and play around with. But most of them lack the cool factor that Valve implemented into the original items. So here’s a list of some of my favorite cosmetic items that we’d love to see in future patches!
1. Leviathan Axe
The PlayStation 4 is home to some of the most breathtaking games that have ever been created. From God of War to Detroit: Become Human, Sony’s flagship console has something for everyone. Even if you’re not a huge PS4 gamer, you probably know about the game Fortnite – otherwise known as “the game that won’t die.” But did you realize that Sony has been making exclusive Fortnite content?
2. Driver
If you’re a fan of sports-related skins then the Driver pickaxe is one that should be added to your collection. It was first released in April 2019 and has since been the No. 1 choice for those who love striking fear into their opponents. This pickaxe has been returning to the shop a lot recently, however, so if you want to add it to your collection then you’ll have plenty of opportunities to do so!
3. Fusion Scythe
Anyone who’s anyone has heard of Fortnite, the most-played first-person shooter game in the world. It’s been downloaded by more than 125 million people across iOS, Android, and PS4, and boasts a 92% retention rate — that means that 92% of those players stick around. That’s an insane number for any app, let alone one in which the goal is to shoot people.
4. Candy Axe
Candy Axe is a holiday pickaxe that was added to Fortnite’s item shop in December 2017, and is available again this year. It features an elegant candy cane wrapped in festive Christmas lights — perfect for anyone who wants to give the axe its very own personal touch. Every time you score a kill, the lights on this pickaxe become brighter.
5. Cosmic Llamacorn
Within Fortnite’s map lies a certain llama that comes in various shapes and forms. These llamas are known as Cosmic Llamas and feature unique changes to the regular loot-llama model. This pickaxe was released as a part of the Galaxia bundle as an exclusive for players who were subscribed to The Crew during its release.
6. Astral Axe
The Astral Axe is a futuristic pickaxe, the perfect fit for any Fortnite player who loves to feel like they’ve been transported into another world. Its bright colors and sleek model make it look futuristic, which means that this axe fits right in with Fortnite’s spaceship theme. The Astral Axe is currently available in the item shop for 1,200 V-Bucks — but if you’re not convinced, here are some reasons to buy it!
7. Fruit Punchers
Not only did Fortnite recently add DC and Marvel-themed skins, but they also added a whole line of singer, artist, and content creator-themed skins too. The Loserfruit skin was added back in June 2019 as part of the Loserfruit bundle. With a price tag of 800 V-Bucks, the Fruit Punchers pickaxe will be back in the game around twice a year.
8. Harley Hitter
Harley Quinn is a comic book character who, like Batman, is an expert at hand-to-hand combat. She also boasts impressive knowledge of trick-shooting and other circus-related talents. She has been making appearances in several different games lately, so it made sense that she finally make her way to the popular battle royale game, Fortnite.
9. Phantasmic Pulse
Fortnite is a video game where players can build and destroy virtual structures in search of victory. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Fans who played Fortnite: Battle Royale was happy to see that they were able to add comic book characters to the game. This was a huge success, and Fortnite managed to bring new players due to this update.
10. Gold Crow
Gold Crow is believed to have spawned from a magic bean, although the actual origin story is quite confusing. It was first spotted on June 22nd and has been a part of the game ever since. Many would love for it to come back for the next season, but no one knows whether or not it’ll happen.
